		<description>It is clear to everyone that we need a fix for the thousands of Americans without insurance. The SCHIP program was and is a bandaid so that we can say we at least cover poor children. Unfortunately, like all social welfare programs brought forth by our government we are now seeing it bleed into covering the parents of those children. Don't misunderstand, I believe we need to find an answer for those that are uninsured but it needs to be a well researched comprehensive program, not a patchwork of interim projects that just fix the portion of the problem that is most critical at any given time. 
Keep the coverage for those currently eligible for the program. Continue to cover additional children as they become eligible. Do not continue to expand this program for adults until it is reviewed.</description>
