I never thought our government would fail us so badly. If you think corporate greed is behind many of our problems wait and see what the government has in store for us in the near future!
This is nothing but a greedy power grab by Pelosi, Reid, Obama and the other socialists.
The pain these people are inflicting on this country is unreal – and all under the guise of “fairness” and helping people.

Health care co-ops or not the issue you miss is that medicine is not patient-centered it is disease centered and medicine centered so quality of care will continue to be poor as the system is designed to meet insurers and the health care industrys interest and portray that as the public good. Insurers are as most people now not angels descended from heaven but hard core business people that without compassion have denied care to millions- because the government failed to provide rules ensuring fair treatment for the insured. Doctors- who act as if they are angels and that the insurers are the problem also are no angels as they denied millions pain care -which is the single biggest reason seek medical care.
Health care will not become reformed until the health care industry stops trying to take advantage of people and instead act with compassion and respect-but of course politicians wont talk about that.
