The next question is what do we do with someone who is hear illegally and is need of serious health care – do we ignore them and turn them away or do we help them?
No, that would be inhuman.
The next quesiton is how do we pay for that person?
I think some kind of foundation or non-profit organization can be setup that could be a tax deduction for those that donate to it. This Non-profit organization would be used to fund situations like this. In this case the doctor/firm/hospital is not loosing out money, those that want to see those that can’t afford health care get it and get a tax write off, and the person who is hear illegally gets the care.
I don’t know how practical that is, but it is better than the current situation – where those that already pay for their families have to carry the weight of those that don’t pay.
