So all they have to do is make the politicians stand up there and keep talking if they feel the need to filibuster. Nothing wrong with that. Most of the legislation the politicians pass is hardly debated at all. Many times they don't even know what is in the stupid laws they pass, nor do they care. They create bills thousands of pages long written in legalese that no normal human being can understand. They vote on them based on what's "in it for them" (their corporate and special interests sponsors) rather than what's best for the country. It's lawless and crude, far more so than a senate rule that allows for open-ended debate.

I say more power to any party that wants to filibuster legislation. The government already tries to do too much. Gridlock is good. That's why the vote swings back and forth between the parties is because Americans realize both of them are dangerous in large numbers.

What we need is a true politicial renaissance where the people stand up and demand constitutional government that stays the hell out of their business rather than "doing the people's business." The government is there primary for national defense and little else. Small government is good government and it's high time people of all parties realize that.

If you want to talk about the constitution how about talking about how this so-called reform is unconstitutional even at casual glance?
